Hip, Knee and Joint Pain

Hip, Knee and Joint Pain
Hips and knees carry your weight, so when one is sore it changes how you walk, and how you walk then loads everything else differently.

Common reasons people come in: knee pain that started with a change in training, a hip that aches after sitting, joints that are stiff first thing and ease through the day.

Brett assesses the joint that hurts and the ones above and below it. A sore knee is often a hip or an ankle that has stopped doing its share.

Treatment combines joint work, soft tissue work and loading exercises. Arthritic joints respond to movement and loading, not to rest.

If a joint is hot, swollen and painful with no injury behind it, see a GP rather than a chiropractor. That needs a different assessment.

We see patients from acros Sydney metro and Illawarra from our clinic in Cronulla.
